10/28 kim-pol: Daybreak Anarchist Collective - Daybreak is an anarchist collective in the Twin Cities. We focus mostly on doing basic outreach, helping to inform people who wouldn't otherwise have heard about anarchism.
10/28 kim-pol: Minnesota Anarchists - The purpose of this site is to spread and promote the ideas, values, and projects of anarchists and anti-authoritarians in Minnesota.
10/28 kww: North Korea's gravy train: send medicine, not food - It is no easy matter divining the exact situation in North Korea with regard to its food outlook - the data is inherently difficult to interpret. What does appear to be the case, though, writes Aidan Foster-Carter in the second part of a two-part report, is that medical aid is of the highest priority.
10/23 kww: Gala Benefit Musical Tripitaka Koreana
to Save North Korea’s Hepatitis B Patients and Disabled
10/22 kww: PYONGYANG WATCH: How hungry is North Korea? - There is no doubt that the elements are unkind to North Korea, with the latest vicious cycle of drought and flood being particularly devastating on the rice crop. Yet weather, being no respecter of man-made borders, has also been unkind to South Korea - and it has had a bumper rice yield this year, indicating that the situation might not be as bad in the North as it is made out to be. (Oct 22)
10/21 kww: Sunshine' Coming Out of Clouds (Korea Times) - Rubbing shoulders with fellow leaders of the APEC member states for a photo session ending the two-day annual multilateral summit in the Science and Technology Museum here on Sunday, President Kim had things to feel proud of.
10/18 kww: Bioterrorism - Prepare for the worst - Is the US wimpish over biological weapons? Would the world understand a more aggressive stance? Ken Alibek thinks so. He has a unique perspective. In 1992, he blew the whistle on the Soviet Union's Biopreparat biowarfare machine. The programme was one of the great deceptions of the cold war because the Soviet Union had signed a treaty banning such work.
10/14 kww: Bin Laden Threatens More Terrorism -Full text of statement Saturday 13 Oct, 2001 by Osama bin Laden spokesman Sulaiman Abu Ghaith
10/13 kim-spy: NY Transfer: Intelligence & Covert Action News
10/13 kww: AMERICA’S WAR ON TERROR - While in purely military terms, the US Afghanistan campaign has achieved very little (See Part II of this analysis below), in geopolitical terms, the United States has set off a multi-dimensional shift in the political, military and economic face of the world. Contemporary history may fall into the two periods of: Before and After September 11, 2001.
10/12 kww: What's Anthrax? - When God visited the 5th plague upon the Pharaoh of Egypt and all the livestock of the Egyptians died, as described in the Book of Exodus, it could have been anthrax. Anthrax is an acute infection, with a rapid progression. It is caused by Bacillus anthracis, a spore-forming bacteria. The disease generally occurs in warm-blooded animals, particularly goats, cattle, and sheep, but it can also infect humans.
10/12 kww: Reunions for the few: kind or cruel? - Being predictably skittish, Pyongyang has called off the latest round of reunions for families divided between North and South Korea. Although the reunions are far from ideal given the limited number of people involved and the cruelly short time for which they are allowed to meet, they are a start. And it is incumbent on North Korea that they continue until all Koreans are finally free to embrace their long-lost loved ones.
10/12 kww: Who's The Enemy:
-- The "End of Days" Begun? - The roots go way back beyond the founding of the state of Israel or the "licentious" and materialistic western lifestyle. Some key words to pique your curiosity: Sirius (star), Giza, Jerusalem, Egyptian Coptic Christian calendar, Knights Templar, the symbology on the back of the U.S. "dollar" bill, Freemasonry (Masons), Crusades, bin Laden, Assassin (word origin), mind control, 19.5 degrees (sunspot origin latitude), Isis, Osiris, Horus.
10/11 kww: Osamagate - Confronted with mounting evidence, the US Administration can no longer deny its links to Osama. While the CIA admits that Osama bin Laden was an "intelligence asset" during the Cold War, the relationship is said to "go way back". Most news reports consider that these Osama-CIA links belong to the "bygone era" of the Soviet-Afghan war. They are invariably viewed as "irrelevant" to an understanding of present events. Lost in the barrage of recent history, the role of the CIA in supporting and developing international terrorist organisations during the Cold war and its aftermath is casually ignored or downplayed by the Western media.
10/11 kww: History of U.S. Sabotage of Korean Peace and Reunification - There are no regions in the Western world that possess a million-plus year history of human activity as does the Korean Peninsula. And the Korean culture possesses a 5,000 year distinct, unified homogenous history devoid of ethnic minorities. Never was Korea divided until the 17th Parallel was cruelly imposed upon it in 1945 by the United States. Korea has never been an aggressor nation. Instead, it has suffered a long history of being aggressed upon by other outside nations, both Asian and Western.
10/11 kr-mass: Revelations Continue to Mount of U.S. War Crimes in Korea - Summary Report of U.S. Veterans Delegation to Korea, August 2 - 9, 2001, a project of the Korea Truth Commission (KTC) planned with members of Veterans For Peace (VFP). Yoomi Jeong, Deputy Secretary General, Korea Truth Commission, served as guide and translator.
10/11 kim-pol: Brian Wilson;s Home Page - essays describing the incredible historic pattern of U.S. arrogance, ethnocentrism, violence and lawlessness in domestic and global affairs, and the severe danger this pattern poses for the future health of Homo sapiens and Mother Earth. Other essays discuss revolutionary, nonviolent alternative approaches based on the principle of radical relational mutuality. This is a term increasingly used by physicists, mathematicians and cosmologists to describe the nature of the omnicentric*, ever-unfolding universe. Every being, every aspect of life energy in the cosmos, is intrinsically interconnected with and affects every other being and aspect of life energy at every moment.
10/11 kww Afghanistan: The Making of U.S. Policy, 1973-1990 - The Afghanistan document collection provides a contemporary record of many of the political and military developments that caused an isolated, Third World country situated at the rugged cross-roads of Asia to become the battleground for the bloodiest and costliest superpower proxy war of the 1980s. The collection consists of 2,326 documents totaling approximately 15,000 pages. While the bulk of the documentation was produced between 1979 and 1988--the period of the Soviet military occupation of Afghanistan--the collection also encompasses events leading up to the 1979 Soviet invasion and includes the Soviet withdrawal during 1988-1989.
10/11 kim-spy: Terrorism educates web users about Terrorism, a subject much on people's minds in the wake of the tragic events of September 11th. We now list about 150 content sites on this subject. Feel free to submit sites.
10/11 kww: Bombing The Truth - by Adam Porter - Well, where do you want to start? The war that seemed so likely is commenced. Various Hollywood straplines and adjectives are applied to the start of the bombing campaign by the media. You know, like, `America Strikes Back` (CNN). And almost without effort the holes, discrepancies and ridiculous geo-political non-starters are presented as fact. To some at any rate.
10/11 kww: Pyongyang Reiterates Opposition to Terrorism (People's Korea) - Terrorism that occurred in the United States is very regretful and tragic. And it may be a right option taken in line with the policy of each country opposed to all forms of terrorism to make a due contribution to the efforts of the international community to eliminate the root cause of this terrorism.
10/10 kww: Some thoughts on NK's Decision on Terrorism
Charles Tustison (Korea Watch) - North Korea is one of the five states officially listed as supporting terror. When President Bush stated that all organizations and states are either with the United States or with the Terrorists, it created a new challenge for north Korea. North Korean diplomats may find some position to screen their real attitude toward terrorism, but if north Korea's leadership to directly and candidly to declare their side, even given the possibility of severe consequences, they would state they were with the terrorists.
10/09 kww: Japanese War Planes Leave for Pakistan - Six Self-Defense Forces transport aircraft left Saturday for Pakistan carrying relief supplies for refugees from neighboring Afghanistan, Japan's first "visible" contribution in the wake of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks in the United States.
10/13 kww: Declaration Of War Against The Americans Occupying The Land Of The Two Holy Places - (Expel The Infidels From The Arab Peninsula) - A Message From Usama Bin Muhammad Bin In Laden To His Muslim Brethren All Over The World Generally And In The Arab Peninsula Specifically
10/10 kww: Chinese Troops for Bin Laden and US Nukes for Afghanistan (Defka) - US-Russian Alliance Against China?
